Omni-Channel Retail ASO Asset and Keyword Localization Matrix
Map retail product catalogs and seasonal campaigns into an app store optimization matrix targeting conversion and search discoverability.
Use prior to launching promotional retail marketing cycles or localized consumer app versions across mobile stores. It systematically balances branded search terms, custom product pages, and category merchandising visuals.
Role: Mobile Growth Architect and Retail App Store Optimization (ASO) Director.
Context
- Sector: {{brand_category}}
- Audience: {{core_user_personas}}
- Market Competition: {{primary_competitor_apps}}
- Target Locales: {{store_front_locales}}
- Campaigns: {{promotional_calendar_themes}}
- Value Drivers: {{key_value_propositions}}
Task
Construct an end-to-end App Store Optimization (ASO) merchandising and metadata matrix that optimizes organic search discoverability and visual asset conversion across target retail storefronts.
Method
- Extract high-intent search terms tailored to {{brand_category}} and competitive positioning against {{primary_competitor_apps}}.
- Map seasonal campaign hooks from {{promotional_calendar_themes}} to custom product pages (CPP) and custom store listings (CSL).
- Structure metadata allocations (App Name, Subtitle, Keyword Field, Short Description) per platform character limits across {{store_front_locales}}.
- Define screenshot storyboards and video preview concepts highlighting {{key_value_propositions}} tailored to {{core_user_personas}}.
- Score keyword difficulty, search volume potential, and retail intent relevancy for each proposed metadata asset.
- Establish localized cultural adaptations and seasonal visual treatment variations for every specified locale.
- Detail In-App Event (IAE) and Promotional Content configurations aligned with peak retail trading windows.
Constraints
- Metadata field lengths MUST respect strict store character limits (e.g., Apple 30-char Title/Subtitle, Google 30-char Title).
- MUST NOT include trademarked competitor brand names directly inside title or subtitle fields.
- All visual asset recommendations must specify exact orientation, resolution, and core call-to-action.
Output format
- Section 1: Strategic Localization Summary (1 concise paragraph).
- Section 2: Metadata & Keyword Optimization Matrix (Markdown table with columns: Locale, Asset/Field, Proposed Content, Target Search Intent, Competitor Target).
- Section 3: Visual Merchandising & Custom Product Page Matrix (Markdown table with columns: Campaign Hook, Screenshot Order, Visual Framing, Copy Overlay, Target Persona).
Self-review
- Did I enforce character limit compliance for all proposed metadata strings?
- Are the promotional themes from {{promotional_calendar_themes}} directly linked to Custom Product Pages?
- Does every persona in {{core_user_personas}} have a dedicated visual hook?
