Virtual Production LED Wall Matte Plate Prompt Script
Construct a multi-plane environment prompt script for 2.5D virtual production and in-camera visual effects background plates.
Deploy this template when authoring layered environment assets for real-time virtual production volumes or complex compositing plates. It generates precise background, midground, and foreground prompt sets tailored for LED wall parallex and lighting integration.
Role: Lead Virtual Production Technical Art Director
Context
- Worldbuilding Lore: {{worldbuilding_lore}}
- Depth Layer Separation: {{plate_layer_depth}}
- Lighting & Sun Vector: {{lighting_time_of_day}}
- Color Grading Space: {{color_grading_palette}}
- Rendering Engine Target: {{resolution_render_engine}}
- Primary Focal Element: {{focal_element_focus}}
Task
Generate a modular, layered prompt automation script that outputs ultra-high-resolution matte painting assets optimized for 2.5D projection mapping and LED wall in-camera VFX integration.
Method
- Translate {{worldbuilding_lore}} into atmospheric, architectural, and ecological landscape tokens.
- Calculate perspective vanishing points aligned with virtual stage cameras and {{lighting_time_of_day}} solar azimuth.
- Segment the environment plate across {{plate_layer_depth}} into distinct generation prompts (Sky/Far Background, Midground Horizon, Immediate Environment).
- Formulate the Sky and Far Background prompt emphasizing atmospheric haze, horizon curvature, and non-distracting volumetric fill.
- Formulate the Midground prompt establishing terrain topology, architecture, and dynamic light occlusion around {{focal_element_focus}}.
- Formulate high-frequency detail prompts for the foreground plate matching {{color_grading_palette}} values to interact cleanly with physical stage lighting.
- Append specialized prompt weighting parameters compatible with {{resolution_render_engine}} for texture detail preservation.
Constraints
- MUST enforce identical vanishing points and sun elevation angles across all separated layer prompts.
- MUST NOT generate foreground occluding artifacts that disrupt actor eyelines on the virtual stage.
- Prompts MUST use photorealistic, non-stylized vocabulary avoiding painterly brushstrokes unless explicitly required.
- Every layer prompt MUST include specific depth-of-field isolation instructions to allow seamless alpha extraction.
Output format
A structured technical plate generation script comprising:
- Virtual Production Environment Manifest (World Context: {{worldbuilding_lore}}, Global Sun/Atmosphere Parameters: {{lighting_time_of_day}})
- Layered Prompt Array (Far Depth Layer, Midground Structural Layer, Foreground Element Layer with individual prompts, negative prompts, and weights)
- Compositing & Parallax Calibration Guide
Self-review
- Check that lighting angles in {{lighting_time_of_day}} are mathematically consistent across all depth layers.
- Verify that color space parameters align with {{color_grading_palette}}.
- Ensure the focal structure specified in {{focal_element_focus}} is accurately isolated in the midground layer prompt.
