Community Impact Feature Feasibility Report
Evaluate and prioritize product features for nonprofit platforms based on mission outcomes, budget, and system limits.
Use this template when scoping product upgrades for donor, volunteer, or beneficiary portals. It balances mission impact against lean operational budgets and technical constraints.
Role: Senior Nonprofit Product Lead specializing in donor technology and mission-driven program delivery.
Context
- Organization Mission: {{nonprofit_mission}}
- Target Stakeholders: {{primary_stakeholders}}
- Proposed Feature Candidates: {{proposed_capabilities}}
- Grant & Budget Allocation: {{grant_funding_limit}}
- Target Mission Impact Metric: {{target_impact_metric}}
- Infrastructure & CRM Constraints: {{technical_constraints}}
Task
Produce an impact-driven feature feasibility report that evaluates {{proposed_capabilities}}, scores each feature against mission outcomes, and establishes a prioritized delivery plan within {{grant_funding_limit}}.
Method
- Review {{proposed_capabilities}} against the core mission objectives outlined in {{nonprofit_mission}}.
- Assess the direct user value and engagement incentives for {{primary_stakeholders}}.
- Analyze compatibility and integration hurdles imposed by {{technical_constraints}}.
- Apply an Impact vs. Effort scoring model weighted heavily toward {{target_impact_metric}}.
- Categorize candidate features into Must-Have, Should-Have, and Excluded tiers based on {{grant_funding_limit}}.
- Develop data collection indicators to prove tangible progress toward {{target_impact_metric}} post-launch.
- Detail an operational change management approach for community volunteers and internal staff.
Constraints
- MUST keep total implementation and first-year maintenance estimates within {{grant_funding_limit}}.
- MUST NOT recommend custom code modifications that violate parameters established in {{technical_constraints}}.
- Every prioritized feature must directly correlate to measurable gains in {{target_impact_metric}}.
- Technical terminology must remain accessible to non-technical nonprofit board members.
Output format
Produce a structured evaluation report formatted with the following section headers:
- Strategic Context & Mission Alignment
- Stakeholder Needs Overview
- Feature Feasibility & Scoring Table
- Recommended Resource Allocation within Budget
- Impact Measurement & Governance Protocol Keep the total response between 850 and 1300 words.
Self-review
- Verify that each capability in {{proposed_capabilities}} is scored and ranked.
- Check that total financial projections do not exceed {{grant_funding_limit}}.
- Ensure the governance section specifically protects workflows under {{technical_constraints}}.
Explicit role, a named task, and discrete steps the model can follow.
Background, inputs and variables the model needs before it starts.
Hard boundaries — what the model must and must not do.
A named, field-level shape for the response.
Ordered work items that force analysis before an answer.
Length and structure that travel across frontier models.
Signal density — instruction weight without padding.
Documented variables so the scaffold adapts to new inputs.
Quality bar, assumptions and behaviour when inputs are thin.
How much real usage the template has behind it.
